Kickboxing classes






This is a class to teach you blow techniques such as punching and kicking. The participants learn correct punches and kicks by hitting a mitt or punching bag. As interpersonal trainings, you do mass sparring to strike a light blow to your opponent. You don’t have to worry about injuries since you wear protective gears such as a headgear and leg guards.
* We rent training equipment such as gloves, but we encourage you to prepare it on you own.
- Beginners’ class
This class mainly aims to master basic techniques. You learn correct form of punching and kicking. As any punch or kick of your own style may hurt your fist or foot, you learn correct way of punching and kicking from the basics. - Regular class
This class mainly provides interpersonal trainings. The participants practice among them punches and kicks they have mastered in the Beginners’ class. You may feel a dramatic increase of difficulty and fun of kickboxing by changing movements between offense and defense against your opponent. - Ladies’ class
This class is available only to female members. All participants confirm the forms of punching and kicking, hit a mitt or punching bag and do interpersonal trainings that even beginners can do easily. In addition, we provide you with special trainings only limited to the Ladies’ class in accordance with the requests from female members.
Jiu-Jitsu classes (*Jiu-Jitsu: Japanese art of self-defense)



This class teaches grappling techniques with a uniform. You learn all kinds of ground techniques by using the uniform including choking, joint locking, pinning and sweeping (technique to overturn an opponent’s body). This class is characterized by the trainings that are not so hard physically for you compared with the grappling class, so you can learn the skills without consuming a lot of your energy. As this class teaches a lot of techniques without using force, many women learn them for self-defense.
* No rental service of the uniform is available. Please prepare your own uniform if you join the class.
- Beginners’ class
This class mainly aims to master basic techniques. You learn basic ways to use or prevent techniques including the movements to throw your opponent in order to learn movements necessary for Jiu-jitsu. - Regular class
This class mainly provides interpersonal trainings. You spar with a participant whose skill level or body type is similar to yours. These trainings are profound as the difficulty level varies in accordance with the change of the start position or situation of the sparring. If you score an ippon smoothly by using your mastered techniques, you will definitely become addicted to them.
Grappling classes




This class teaches grappling techniques with a T-shirt or shorts and without a uniform. You learn a wide variety of ground techniques from wrestling to submission (such as choking and joint locking). Unlike Jiu-jitsu, there are no techniques by using a uniform. The techniques can be applied to MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) or wrestling, so this class is recommended for the athletes or experiencers of such sports. In particular, since the trainings require you to use the muscles of arms, chest or back, they are suitable for strengthening the muscles of your upper body.
- Beginners’ class
This class mainly aims to master basic techniques. You learn basic ways to use or prevent techniques including the movements to throw your opponent in order to learn movements needed for grappling. - Regular class
This class mainly provides interpersonal trainings. You spar with a participant whose skill level or body type is similar to yours. Unlike Jiu-jitsu, as you cannot control your opponent by using the uniform, you need to have more power or stamina.
MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) classes





This class provides MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) trainings which combine all techniques including blows, wrestling and ground techniques. This class mainly teaches you grappling techniques used for MMA. You experience the techniques used for MMA such as UFC including combination of blows and grappling or wrestling by using a wall.
The advantage of HEARTS is that you can learn practical techniques or skills directly from Japan’s best athletes including Mr. Osawa.
- Beginners’ class
This class mainly aims to master basic techniques. You learn how to combine blows and grappling techniques different from other sports or the blows and grappling techniques that are suited to MMA. - Regular class
This class mainly provides interpersonal trainings. You spar with a participant whose skill level or body type is similar to yours. - Kids’ class
This class provides trainings for elementary school students. You begin with how to move your body from the basics and then gradually master the techniques needed for MMA in a step-by-step manner (“MMA” is called “Sogokakutogi” in Japanese which includes all techniques of the martial arts.) In addition, in this class, our instructors strive to give you the guidance useful for your normal school life such as cheerful greetings to others, joint practices with your friends, mastering of adjustment of your force or fun of moving your body, aiming to improve your courtesy, manners, cooperativeness or concentration power.
Fitness classes

- Get-in-shape class
In the first half of the class, all participants do bodyweight trainings for abdominal muscles, back muscles and core. In the second half of the class, you sweat by doing cardio exercises using a mitt or punching bag. This class has a lot of female members and is popular as a “first-step” class for persons who wish to solve their lack of exercise or release their stress. - Physical strength class
This class aims to increase physical strength in accordance with a full-scale training menu using weight training equipment or treadmills. This class is recommended for persons who wish to heavily strengthen their body or to obtain effects in a short period of time.
Freestyle training class

Please do your favorite trainings for personal reasons by fully utilizing the equipment or instructors of HEARTS.
